Even so, in the past, so-called astronomers and religious leaders with occasional conspiratorial views have predicted the end of the world.

However, a conspiracy theory is currently spreading in Europe and the United States, claiming that the world will end on June 21, 2020.

The rumours circulating on Twitter that Judgment Day is coming next week according to the ancient Mayan civilization calendar.

Calendar from the Maya civilization claimed that the Day of Judgment was coming on December 21, 2012, which meant 2020, not 2012 as the calendar was read wrongly, according to the rumours.

British media also reported that the so-called scientist compared the Georgian, Maya and Julian calendars and came up with an accurate date originally prophesied by calendar readers, Mayan doomsday is 21 June 2020.

The so-called scientist claimed in his tweets that the 2012 claim of the ancient Maya civilization calendar was correct, but if this calendar is compared with the Georgian and Julian calendars, it becomes 2020, not 2012.

According to the so-called scientist, if the Maya calendar is compared with the current Georgian calendar in the world, then we are currently in 2012 according to the Maya calendar and 2020 according to the Georgian calendar.

The so-called scientist calculated mathematically and claimed that the prediction made in the old Mayan calendar was incorrectly calculated and actually the date of Mayan doomsday is June 21, 2020, and the world will end on that day.

This conspiracy theory has spread around the world at a time when the Coronavirus pandemic, earthquakes, floods, locust attacks, violent demonstrations against the eradication of racial prejudice and other similar events are taking place.

A similar conspiracy theory emerged in 2012, claiming that the calendar of the ancient Mayan civilization would end on December 21, 2012, and that the end of the calendar was likened to the end of the world.

However, experts studying the Mayan civilization at the time said that the end of the calendar did not mean the end of the world, but the end of the old era.

Eight years after this conspiracy theory, the same ideology is spreading on social media in Europe and America once again.

The ancient Maya civilization was based on the recent North and Central American countries, and where countries such as Mexico, Honduras, Belize and Guatemala now exist, the ancient Mayan civilization began and ended there.

This civilization is also considered to be one of the oldest civilizations in the world, this civilization was also called the Meso-American civilization and the followers of this civilization created the Mayan calendar to run the routine of life.
