Leader of Tehreek-e-Azadi, Syed Ali Gilani resigned from his post

Syed Ali Gilani, a senior leader of Hurriyat Conference and leader of Tehreek-e-Azadi, has resigned from his post.

According to details, Syed Ali Gilani, a senior leader of Hurriyat Conference and leader of Tehreek-e-Azadi, has denied in his statement that he has resigned under government pressure.

Syed Ali Gilani, a senior leader of the Kashmir independence movement, has been criticized some party member because they were disobeying him, but at the same time, he has dismissed the conception that the government pressured him to resign because of his ill health.

Syed Ali Gilani has also been a member of the Jamaat-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir, later founding his own party, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, and in 1993 joined the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, including his party, which is an alliance of 26 political and social parties in Kashmir.

On the other hand, state terrorism by the Indian Army continues and three more Kashmiri people have been martyred.
