Superstar Mahira Khan has revealed that she has never worked in any campaign or commercial that promotes skin whitening products since she was a VJ.

People around the world are raising voice against racial injustice, the topic has diverted attention towards celebrities appearing in fairness products’ commercials.

Singer Momina Mustehsan has also revealed that she has never worked in such kinds of projects.

She tweeted, “Same here. Always turned down all fairness product endorsements. The amount of melanin in your skin has nothing to do with how beautiful you are. If we ALL responsibly refuse whitening endorsements, it might cause a shift in the market. We have the power to change the narrative,”
