Government and opposition members in the National Assembly came face to face, both sides slammed each other’s leadership, PPP’s Naveed Qamar became emotional and took off his coat and got ready to fight.

In a meeting chaired by National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, PPP members were outraged when Federal Minister Ali Zaidi spoke against the PPP leadership. Naveed Qamar stood up from his seat and said, “If you want to fight, let’s fight, said Naveed Qamar while taking off his coat.

Bitter words were exchanged between the members and the House resounded with noise. The Speaker directed the members to show restraint, after which Ali Zaidi completed his speech and criticized the PPP leadership.

Federal Minister Ali Zaidi said in his speech that Uzair Baloch had confessed to killing 58 people and he killed people on whom behest who come here and give speeches on the budget.

Standing on the bench to respond to Ali Zaidi’s speech, he said that there is a decision in the Sita White case against Prime Minister Imran Khan which no one talks about. Speaker Asad Qaiser forbade Qadir Patel but he spoke on the issue. Talking on which the speaker turned off Qadir Patel’s mic.

The United Opposition walked out of the meeting in protest of the government’s behaviour and the speaker’s move, with opposition members protesting and chanting slogans outside Parliament House.
