Leading Pakistani fashion designer Maheen Khan has announced that she will not be traveling through PIA in the future.
On the social networking site Twitter, the fashion designer Maheen Khan wrote in her tweet that in the last 30 years, political recruitments have been made in PIA and jobs have been given to their own relatives.
She wrote on twitter, “For over 30 years jobs have been given in PIA to political favourites or their relatives. Shocking that a airline is run by “sifarashies.” Shameful disregard for lives alive or not as seen in the way the bereaved families are being treated after the crash”

Maheen added that she was amazed at how the PIA was being run by nepotism.
She also mentioned in her tweet the recent PIA plane crash in Karachi and said that it was shameful that the families of the victims were being mistreated.

Maheen Khan also tweeted a video of the sister of a man killed in a Karachi plane crash, in which she was talking about the difficulties in recovering her brother’s body.
It is to be noted that on May 22, a PIA plane A8303 coming from Lahore crashed on a population near Jinnah International Airport in Karachi.
The plane was carrying 99 people, including passengers and crew, of whom 97 were killed and two miraculously survived.
