Shehbaz Sharif’s message to friends, well wishers

PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition Shehbaz Sharif said that he is deeply grateful to all the friends and well wishers who have sent messages of good wishes and prayers for him.

According to details, in a message on the social networking website Twitter, PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition Shehbaz Sharif said, since coming to Pakistan, I have been very careful and strictly following the advice of medical experts. While proceeding, I was very careful not to leave the house except to appear in the NAB.

In his message, Leader of the Opposition Shehbaz Sharif said that he confined himself to his house and held online meetings from here but still due to ill health I decided to take Corona test which unfortunately came back positive.

I am deeply touched by your messages and grateful to all those who conveyed their best wishes to me. After feeling a bit unwell couple of days ago, I decided to go for the Covid-19 test. Unfortunately, it turned out to be positive. (1/n)

Leader of the opposition further wrote, “Ever since coming to Pakistan, I have been extremely careful & completely followed the advice of health officials. Except for a couple of unavoidable outings recently like appearance before NAB, I have been home and conducted most of the meetings online.”

PML-N President also said on twitter, “Takeaway: The threat levels posed by Covid-19 are alarmingly high. I appeal to people from the core of my heart to be extraoridinarily careful. The households should desginate one person for necessary outdoor chores. Others should strictly stay home.”

Earlier, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa telephoned PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition Shehbaz Sharif to ask about his health.

During the telephone conversation, the Army Chief inquired from Shehbaz Sharif about his health while expressing concern over Shehbaz Sharif’s condition and Coronavirus being positive.

PML-N spokesperson said that during the talks, the Army Chief prayed for Shehbaz Sharif’s recovery and also asked for help in medical treatment.
