The Sindh government extended the lockdown till June 30.

According to details, The Sindh Home Department has issued a notification issued the extension of lockdown which stated that it has been decided to close educational institutions, restaurants, wedding halls, gyms, parks and sea view.

The notification also said that beauty parlours and hotels would remain closed while home delivery from restaurants would be allowed.

The notification further said that the business will be allowed to open from 6 am to 7 pm.

Earlier today, PM Imran Khan has said that there will be a complete lockdown across the country on Saturday and Sunday.

A meeting of the National Coordinating Committee (NCC) chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan was held at the Prime Minister’s House.

Addressing the nation after the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced a complete lockdown in the country on Saturday and Sunday.

The Prime Minister said that initially, we had locked down after 26 cases. The purpose of a lockdown is precaution and treatment. Different countries are receiving different effects of lockdown.

Imran Khan said that until the vaccine is ready, we will face this epidemic.

Yesterday, Chairing a meeting at National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar had said that the shopkeepers should strictly implement ‘no mask, no service’ policy.

Also, all Sindh Private Schools Association announced to open schools from June 15.

As per details, despite the rising cases of the novel coronavirus in Pakistan, All Sindh Private Schools Association announced to open schools from June 15.

Let it be known that education minister of Sindh Saeed Ghani has already announced that schools will remain closed until further notice.

The provincial government of Sindh had decided not to reopen public and private educational institutions from the 1st of June.

Ghani said, “Once we have taken a look at the situation at hand, we will decide about reopening schools.”
