Teachers demand reopening of schools

the Private Schools Action Committee staged a protest outside the Karachi Press Club against the government for not giving permission to resume the educational activities in the school.

Owners and teachers of various schools took part in the demonstration outside the Karachi Press Club while holding placards and banners against the Sindh government with slogans demanding an end to the economic massacre of teachers and reopening of schools.

The protest was led by the leaders of the Private Schools Action Committee. Addressing the protesters, the leaders of the action committee said that the future of more than 1.5 million teachers and children was at stake while thousands of school owners were facing economic hardship due to the closure of schools. Are victims. Instead of remaining silent, the Sindh government should take practical steps to open schools.

Note that, the Sindh Education Department has decided not to reopen educational institutions in Sindh.

The Sindh Education Department’s steering committee has allowed private schools to open online and only teachers will be able to come to the school for online teaching.

The decision further said that the parents of the children would come to the school to receive the study pack while the students would be barred from coming to the school and only the teaching and non-teaching staff would be allowed to come.

It has been decided by the Steering Committee that the decision to promote the students of class I to VIII will be taken at the next meeting on the recommendations of the sub-committee while it should be noted that It was objected to the promotion and it was decided that additional 3% marks would be given to Matric and Intermediate students.
