US President retweets footage of supporter saying 'white power'

The President of United States Donald Trump has retweeted a video viewing one of his followers loudly shouting white power.

According to the details, the supporter was from a group of senior citizens participating in in a pro-Trump rally in Florida.

The video showed opponents and supporters of the president cursing at one another.

It is to be noted that president has denied the accusation of inflaming racial tensions.

The only black Republican in the US Senate, Tim Scott said that “the video was offensive and called on the president to remove his tweet.”

Earlier on Jun 12, An African-American man was killed by police shooting in Atlanta on Friday evening.

Police shot dead black man Rayshard Brooks, 27, outside a Wendy’s outlet in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday night as he found asleep in the drive-through area of the restaurant.

The National Associ­ation for the Advancement of Coloured People (NAACP) said, “We are done dying,” Violence erupted after Brooks’s killing.
