A review meeting of various road infrastructure projects has been held under PPP mode under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar.
During the briefing, the Federal Minister was informed about the road infrastructure. Apart from Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway, CDWP has approved two more projects under public-private partnership at a cost of about Rs 200 billion. The N25 Karachi to Quetta Road project and the Mianwali to Muzaffargarh Road project costing about Rs 100 billion are included.
Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar has directed to complete the design and feasibility study of both the projects by March 31, 2021.
Asad Umar added that the two projects would help the private sector in providing road infrastructure.

It may be recalled that the meeting was attended by Chairman National Highway Authority Captain Sikandar Qayyum, Chief Executive Officer PPPA Malik Ahmad Khan and senior officials.
