An operation was carried out by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Karachi in which four accused involved in the targeted killing of several persons were arrested.
CTD officials said the arrested suspects belonged to the MQM London group, identified as Farhan Ali Haider, Mohammad Mazhar, Mohammad Atif and Farrukh Shehzad.
Officials further said that the accused Farhan Ali belongs to MQM London while the accused has been involved in killing 5 people. The accused Muhammad Mazhar was the unit in-charge of 99 unit and used to deliver arms at the unit level. Atif and Farrukh used to collect extortion.
CTD officials said that weapons and stolen goods were recovered from the possession of the accused and further investigation is underway.
