The High Court has been told by the lawyer of Johnny Depp that he is not a wife beater and claims of violence made by his ex-wife Amber Heard are wrong.
According to the details, Depp’s lawyer told high court that he is not a wife beater and all the allegations of his ex-wife are complete lies.
The sources said that the Hollywood star is suing The Sun’s publisher, News Group Newspapers (NGN), and its executive editor, Dan Wootton, over an article which said that he attacked his ex-wife Amber Heard during the relationship.
The sources also said that on the first day of the trial, which is set to last three weeks, here is some of the key evidence that has been presented in court.
The lawyers of Hollywood star have said his libel action against The Sun is “not a case about money” but about proof and his reputation.
His barrister, David Sherborne, argued Heard created these stories of serious violence and that she was the abuser in the relationship.
