Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar has said that our government is committed to provide basic amenities to the citizens at their doorstep.
According to details, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar in which issues related to the performance and scope of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) were reviewed.
In the meeting, Chief Minister Usman Bazdar directed the Lahore Division to resolve the issues related to the master plan as soon as possible and said that new projects are being launched for the convenience of the citizens of Lahore.
The Punjab Chief Minister said that the LDA’s plan for construction of apartments was of utmost importance and this project would provide shelter to the low income sections.
Usman Bazdar also said that permission has been given for construction of high rise buildings in Lahore while reforms have been made in LDA to make it a public friendly institution.
Sardar Usman Bazdar said that the scope of LDA should be reviewed and final recommendations should be made soon while the people have been facilitated by reforming the LDA.
Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Bazdar further said that the members of Nankana Sahib, Kasur and Sheikhupura National and Provincial Assemblies would be taken into confidence to redefine the scope of LDA while the decision in this regard would be taken in consultation with stakeholders. Will be done and they will decide which will facilitate the people.
The meeting was attended by Provincial Law Minister Raja Basharat, Vice Chairman LDA Sheikh Muhammad Imran, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Secretary Housing, DG LDA and concerned officials.
