India has decided to impose a strict ban on Eid prayers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha in occupied Kashmir.
According to details, Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Ayesha Farooqi said that the Indian government had decided to ban Eid prayers in occupied Kashmir, which has been strongly condemned by Pakistan.
The spokesman said that on the one hand, the Indian occupying forces have illegally occupied occupied Kashmir and on the other hand, preventing the people of occupied Kashmir from offering Eid prayers is a reprehensible move.
She said that such Indian measures are also against basic human rights.
On the occasion, Dr. Ayesha Farooqi said that the Coronavirus epidemic was being used by India to snatch the religious freedom of the people of Occupied Kashmir and it was imperative that the United Nations and the international community take notice of India’s unconstitutional actions.
The statement said, “Pakistan urges the international community, the United Nations, and human rights and humanitarian organisations to take notice of glaring denial of the religious rights and freedoms of the Kashmiri people in violation of international laws and conventions.”
