Karachi University Renounces Late Fee Charges due to COVID-19

Karachi University’s management has removed late fees of currently enrolled students who cannot submit their fees till the deadline.

According to the details, the last date of fee submission is July 20, 2020 but management has decided that if a student is not able to pay the fee then late fee charges will not be charged.

The sources said that the University of Karachi has extended the waiver in the late fee to facilitate students who could not submit their fees due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It is to be noted that there are 35,000 students in the university who can avail this opportunity.

The notification of the university said that semester fees of morning or evening program can be paid by using various payment options, and students do not have to visit the university.

The student or their guardians can visit any Habib Bank Limited branch and fill in the general deposit slip writing the student’s name, seat number, and the amount for credit.  A paid copy of the deposit slip would be given to the depositor by the bank for the record maintaining.
