Pakistani Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai is celebrating her 23rd birthday today.
According to details, Malala Yousafzai was born on July 12, 1997 in Mingora area of Kyber Pakhtunkhwa, province of Pakistan.

The United Nations wrote on Twitter, “Happy Birthday, @Malala!”
Malala’s name is derived from Tasmiya Maiwand’s Malala, who was a famous Pashtun poet and militant woman from southern Afghanistan.
She is a graduate of Oxford University in the United Kingdom and is active in the field of human rights and women’s education.
On October 10, 2014, Malala was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her struggle for the right of children and youth to education. At the age of 17, Malala is the youngest person in the world to receive this award.

It is to be noted that Malala is the youngest person in the world to win a Nobel Prize in any field.
She has so far received 40 international awards from around the world in recognition of her bravery.
