Details of the distribution of 100 ventilators donated by the United States to the provinces have come to light.
According to the details, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has released the details of distribution of American ventilators in the provinces.
Details released by the NDMA said that 100 portable ICU ventilators have been donated to Pakistan by the US government.
Out of 100 donated ventilators, 13 will be given to Balochistan, 27 to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 23 to Punjab, 26 to Sindh, 6 to Azad Kashmir and 5 to Gilgit-Baltistan.
The NDMA has also released a list of hospitals for the installation of these ventilators. The list of hospitals has been compiled in consultation with the provincial governments.
It should be noted that a consignment of 100 ventilators donated by the United States has reached Pakistan today.
A spokesman for the US embassy said that US President Donald Trump had promised to provide ventilators in talks with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
