Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rahman, Chairman of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee said on Wednesday (July 29) that PM Imran Khan should announce a three-day holiday for Eid ul Adha.
According to the details, Chairman of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee said that the Prime Minister should declare a three-day holiday for Eid as it is usually a three-day festivity.
It is to be noted that the federal government had announced a three-day holiday, from Friday, 31st July to Sunday, 2nd August.
The religious scholar said while addressing the press conference in Karachi that there is no fight between ulema and science.
He further said that the ulema also have the knowledge of science.
Earlier, Addressing the nation, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that our smart lockdown policy was successful. Coronavirus has the lowest death toll in the last three days.
The Prime Minister said that we did things that were later adopted by others. The easiest way to reduce COVID-19 is to wear a mask, wear masks in cattle markets.
Imran Khan said that caution has to be exercised during Eid and Muharram. People had not taken precaution on Eid-ul-Fitr, the pressure on hospitals had increased.
