According to the details, the next season of PUBG will begin on 22nd July on PC and July 30 on consoles.
It is to be noted that the teaser also has a reference to Sanhok, which recommends that the map may be getting a visual overhaul.
The sources said that as Season 7 focused on the snow-covered landscape of Vikendi, the next season’s tropical environment of Sanhok will bring fair amount of contrast in the game.
Season 8 will also introduce new cosmetics and emotes along with new Survivor Pass, sources added.
The developer has introduced C4 as new throwables along with some changes to Vikendi in the recent PUBG update.
The game developing company wrote on Twitter, “For the Jungle you must wait, until it’s PUBG Season 8.”

Earlier, An Indian teenager reportedly spent nearly 1.6 million Indian rupee ($21,424.9 US dollars) making in-app purchases and upgrades on the Mobile version of Player Unknown’s Battle Grounds (PUBG).
The boy has used the money not only to buy in-app purchases for himself but also to buy upgrades for his teammates.
The media reports revealed that the 17-year-old used three bank accounts to spend a massive amount of money on PUBG Mobile game. However, the spending came to light when his parents accessed bank accounts to review records of transactions.
