Security forces clash with terrorist in North Waziristan, 4 personnel martyr

RAWALPINDI: Four terrorists were killed during an operation in North Waziristan while four personnel were martyred in an exchange of fire.

According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), four terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire during an intelligence operation in North Waziristan.

ISPR said that 4 personnel were martyred due to firing of terrorists. Among the martyred personnel are Mohammad Ismail, Mohammad Shahbaz, Rizwan and Waheed.

Two soldiers including a captain were martyred in a firing incident on a convoy of security forces in North Waziristan

Earlier last month, two security personnel, including a captain, were martyred and two others were injured in a firing incident on a convoy of security forces in North Waziristan. A terrorist was also killed in the exchange of fire.

It may be recalled that on April 26 this year, nine terrorists were killed during an operation in North Waziristan while two personnel were martyred in an exchange of fire.
