Six more cricketers who were included in the Pakistan cricket squad have reached Manchester for England series.
Mohammad Hafeez, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Hasnain, Fakhr Zaman and Shadab Khan were included in the squad after their COVID-19 tests came negative, left for England by a foreign airline yesterday.
Upon arrival in Manchester, the six players will leave for Worcester by bus, where they will be allowed to join the squad after COVID-19 testing conducted by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) testing program.
Earlier, the cricketers could not go with the squad as they tested positive for Coronavirus.
Note that 20 players of Pakistan squad and 11 members of management had reached England on June 28 where their tests conducted which came negative after which the players of the national team have started training.
It should be noted that the report of the first test was positive and the report of the third test of 6 players has come negative today. Earlier, their second report was also negative.
Test-negative players include Fakhr Zaman, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan and Wahab Riaz.
Earlier, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that Mohammad Rizwan will be replaced by Rohail Nazir as the backup wicketkeeper.
The sources said that PCB announced the 29-player squad in which Bilal, Imran, Nawaz and Musa were originally named as reserve players on June 12.
