England fast bowler Stuart Broad became the seventh bowler in the world to take 500 Test wickets.
Stuart Broad performed this feat by lbw Kraigg Brathwaite on the last day of the third Test against the West Indies.
Stuart Broad is the second England fast bowler to take 500 Test wickets and the fourth overall.
Sri Lanka’s off-spinner Murali Dharan is leading with 800 wickets, followed by Australia’s Shane Warne with 708 wickets and India’s Anil Kumble with 619 wickets.

ICC wrote on Twitter, “Stuart Broad has become just the 7th bowler in the history of the game to take 500 Test wickets!”
England’s James Anderson is fourth with 589 wickets, Australia’s Glenn McGrath is fifth with 563 wickets and West Indies’ Courtney Walsh is sixth with 519 wickets.
It is worth mentioning here that out of these seven bowlers, only James Anderson and Stuart Broad are currently playing international cricket, all the other players have retired.
