London: Aamer Sarfraz, a British citizen of Pakistani origin, has been made a life member of the House of Lords.

The Queen, on the advice of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, made British Pakistani Aamer Sarfraz a life member of the Lords. Amir Sarfraz was honoured as a member of the House of Lords for his services to the Conservative Party.

Aamer Sarfraz hails from Gujarat, Pakistan and speaks fluent Urdu. 38 years old Aamer, will be the youngest member of the House of Lords.

On this occasion, he said that he was thankful to Allah Almighty for the honour of being a life member of the House of Lords and would work for the strengthening of relations between the United Kingdom and Pakistan.

Amir Sarfraz is a graduate of Boston University and the London School of Economics.
