Federal Minister Sheikh Rashid announces approval of ML-1

Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid has said that ML-1 has been approved today (Aug 5).

According to details, Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid said in a video message that he had signed the agreement with China 13 years ago, which has been approved on Wednesday.

Sheikh Rashid said that the project was kept in abeyance for 13 years. Credit goes to Imran Khan’s government which started the project.

He said the project would cost 6.8 billion. The railway crossing will end. The journey from Lahore to Karachi will take 7 hours. The journey from Lahore to Rawalpindi will be reduced to two and a half hours while the journey from Multan to Lahore will be reduced to two hours.

The Federal Minister for Railways said that the track of 1861 is now being upgraded. Generations will remember work on the railway track began in 2020 after 1861. The project will be completed soon.

Earlier, Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has reiterated that Prime Minister Imran Khan is not going anywhere.

Talking to media officials after performing Eid prayers in Rawalpindi, Sheikh Rasheed said that the opposition will make noise for next three months but nothing will change.
