On Thursday, Pakistan Army has set up a Flood Emergency Control Center in Karachi to help the flood victims, stranded in their homes or roads.
According to details, medical camps have been set up at District Center Gulberg, Liaquatabad and New Karachi.
As per the statement issued by the ISPR, relief operations are underway in the flood-hit areas of Karachi and Hyderabad.

It is pertinent to mention here that in its new advisory the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said the ongoing downpour in Karachi would continue until 11 pm today.
The Met Office had forecast a day ago that the monsoon storm system had weakened, and the metropolis was likely to be provided with much-needed relief from the torrential rains.
