PM Imran Khan thanks Former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad
Malaysia has also joined hands with Pakistan to raise the issue of Kashmir at the international level. Prime Minister Imran Khan has also thanked Mahathir Mohamad for his support.
According to details, in a tweet on a social networking site, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he thanked Mahathir Mohamad for raising his voice against the atrocities on unarmed Kashmiris.
He said that Mahathir Mohamad addressed the Indian illegal activities on the end of the year of Aug 5 and fully supported the Kashmiris.

PM Imran Khan wrote on Twitter, “I want to thank Dr Mahathir Bin Mohamad for speaking in support of Kashmiris and against Indian repression in IIOJK – this time at a function on 8 Aug to mark a year of the illegal Indian actions in IIOJK.”
Earlier, former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad had said that since I am no longer the Prime Minister, I think I can now speak without interruption and without any boycott or such threats.

Former Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has called on the international community to take note of the deteriorating human rights situation in illegally occupied Jammu.
He said on Twitter, “What transpired since my contentious speech at the UN General Assembly in September last year only served to prove that what I had said were mild and to a certain degree, restrained.”
He said that Kashmiris were living under the siege of India’s 900,000 occupying forces.
Former Malaysian PM also wrote on social networking site, “Now that Iam no more the Prime Minister, I take it that I can now speak without restrain and address the Kashmir issue without threats of boycotts and such.”
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan in his tweet thanked Dr Mahathir Mohamad for his support to Kashmiris and for speaking out against Indian oppression in Indian-occupied Jammu.
