Additional Sessions Judge heard the petition of actress Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed.

A case was registered against them by Akbari Gate police station for shooting at Wazir Khan Mosque.

On this occasion, the counsel for the plaintiff objected that the accused must be present in the court in the interim application and the court should reject the application for pardon and also remove the bail application of both.

The court accepted the plea of Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed and summoned them for the next hearing and extended their interim bail till September 3.

Akbari Gate police had registered a case against the two stars for shooting a song at Wazir Khan Mosque.

Both took a stand in the petition that they did not shoot the song in the mosque, the sanctity of the mosque is considered and the court should grant interim bail.

The court will hear the petition against the two on September 3.

The Sessions Court summoned Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed on September 3 and restrained the police from arresting Bilal Saeed and Saba Qamar till September 3.

It may be recalled that Bilal Saeed and Saba Qamar’s song ‘Qabool’ was released on August 12, which did not include scenes filmed at the historic Wazir Khan Mosque in Lahore.

Earlier, a short teaser of the song was released, in which the two were seen performing the marriage ceremony at the Wazir Khan Mosque.

However, a short video clip of the teaser was sharply criticized by social media users, who accused Bilal Saeed and Saba Qamar of dancing in the mosque and playing music in the background.

Following such allegations, an application was also filed in the Lahore Sessions Court seeking action against the two, on which the court had ordered to file a case against them after a preliminary hearing.

After public criticism, the two apologized for having a photo shoot in the mosque, explaining that they did not dance in the Wazir Ali Khan Mosque, nor did they play music in the background during the scenes shot in the mosque.

At the same time, both of them had announced to remove the scenes shot in the mosque from the song and the song released later did not include any scenes shot in the mosque.
