On Monday, Spotify has announced that it is getting into the esports space. It said that partnership with Riot Games will make Spotify the main domain for all League of Legends audio content, including exclusive podcast series.

According to details, Spotify will launch one show, called Top Moments from Worlds, a nine-episode series this year, and will lead up the 10th League of Legends competition this fall. It will help the Spotify users to hear about the players and top anthem during the game highlights, interviews, and game’s sound effects.

The details further revealed that Spotify will also update two music playlists, including “This is League of Legends”.

Spotify is also thinking to dedicate a day to the Worlds Anthem, a song Riot releases every year to starts its annual championship competition.

However, people reacted to the partnership but to some extent, it made sense about how popular League of Legends’ music is.
