Ramzan Chhipa, founder and social activist of Chhipa, said that it was a miracle that the girl’s life was saved despite her poor condition.
“We received a call this morning and were told about the girl, in which our team reached the spot and rescued the girl from the steel shed of the shops in an injured condition,” Ramzan Chhipa told a press conference.
Mr. Chhipa said that the baby was thrown from a height shortly after birth while in 35 years no one has seen fall from the building and survive.
In this regard, Ramzan Chhipa has requested to put the newborn babies in the swings of Chhipa.
He said, “We rushed the girl to Jinnah Hospital in a critical condition where doctors rescued her after several hours of efforts.”
“If the parents contact us legally, we will hand over the baby. Otherwise, we will either take care of the girl ourselves or we will hand over the child to a benevolent parent,” he said.
Earlier today, Unidentified persons threw a newborn baby girl from the second floor of the building in the Baloch Colony area of Karachi.
The sources of Chhipa Welfare Association said that the newborn baby is alive and well, she is currently in a Chhipa child home.
