When it comes to weight loss sometimes, more than strict diets, what works are simple home remedies. Easy and cheap to prepare and with no side effects.
Two very simple home remedies taken from the subcontinent are Zeera (Cumin) water and Dhaniya (Coriander) water. both popular spices are common among Pakistani household as both are used in most local cuisines. Both spices are said to have great effects on digestion, and metabolism.
Zeera water is a water solution that you can get by soaking Cumin seeds in water for a few hours until the water turns a light yellowish color. One teaspoon of Cumin has only around 7 calories thus by having a glass you barely consume any calories.
The water secretes an enzyme that is said to help in breaking down sugars, carbohydrates, and fats which allows the gut to remain healthy.
Dhaniya water is just as simple to make as you soak a teaspoon of coriander seeds and soak them in a glass of water overnight. strain the water the next morning and remember that the seeds are used for cooking purposes.
Coriander water boosts immunity as the antioxidants present in the water help reduce free radical activity, boosts body defense mechanisms, and also helps reduce weight.
Both these traditional spices have magical properties that help in weight loss and improve your health.
