Facebook is all set to introduce its smart glasses next year

Facebook has announced to introduce its first smart glasses in 2021, possibly as part of a plan to develop a device to replace smartphones.

The announcement was made by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, for which the social media site has partnered with another company, EssilorLuxottica.

Mark Zuckerberg said during the company’s Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Conference said that he can’t say the full details of the device at this time, but it will be a breakthrough for augmented reality glasses and they will look great.

Facebook also introduced the Oculus Quest VR headset during the conference, which features an upgraded processor and higher resolution display.
