The Sindh Chief Minister requested the World Bank to conduct an urban property survey in Karachi, to which the World Bank Country Director assured the Sindh government of all possible cooperation.

According to details, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had a meeting with the new country director of the World Bank on the video link, in which the Chief Minister said that he had done irrigation projects with the World Bank and Karachi Transformation Strategy projects had started.

Murad Ali Shah said that August rains in Karachi broke previous records, heavy rains caused severe damage to infrastructure, rains in Mirpur Khas, Badin, Sanghar, Umerkot also caused devastation, heavy rains destroyed agriculture in Sindh.

He urged the World Bank to cooperate with the Sindh government in improving the infrastructure in rural areas and urban areas.

The Sindh Chief Minister requested the World Bank to conduct an urban property survey in Karachi, to which the World Bank Country Director assured the Sindh government of all possible cooperation and said that we value the partnership with Sindh.
