The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) on Monday announced the result of the Secondary School Certificate SSC Part II (matric) science group (Regular) for the year 2020.

The result was announced by the controller examination on September 21, 2020.

According to the statement issued by controller examination Abdul Razak Depar all students, who had submitted their examination forms before exams were canceled due to coronavirus, have been promoted under the government’s promotion policy.

As per the statement, a total of 1,69,325 candidates had registered themselves for the 2020 exams.

Out of 1,69,325 students, only 445 candidates, who had not appeared in all the papers of their SSC Part I examination 2019 could not benefit from the promotion policy.

The pass percentage stood at 99.8.

B.Com Results Announced

Earlier University of Karachi (KU) Controller of Examinations Dr. Syed Zafar Hussain announced the result of the B.Com Part-II Annual Examination-2019.

While announcing the results of the annual examinations 2019 of regular B.Com Part-II and both parts, Dr. Syed Zafar Hussain said 14,772 of the 15,315 registered candidates took the exams.

Only 430 students managed to clear all the papers in the first division, 1,969 in second, and one in third, whereas 12,372 candidates failed their exams and the overall passing percentage coming in at 16.25%, the Karachi University official added.

The overall pass percentage was 16.25 percent.

Iffat Ashraf daughter of Muhammad Ashraf, bearing seat number 721076, student of D.A. Degree College Women (Phase VIII), clinched overall first position by obtaining 1061 marks out of a total of 1400 marks.

Whereas Mubashra daughter of Ashfaq Ahmed, seat number 720931, Government College of Commerce and Economics, bagged second with 1036 marks, and Syeda Nabail Raza Rizvi daughter of Syed Asif Raza Rizvi, seat number 720082, Government Premier College for Girls stood third with 1027 marks.
