Islamabad: Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed has said that Bilawal Bhutto did not speak in the public interest in the press conference.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, he said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had given a historic package for Karachi. Do not politicize the development of the people. There is a problem of governance in Karachi, there is no drainage system and the people have no access to basic necessities.

He said these people also sacrifice important issues for politics, the money that Sindh gets, it fell prey to fake accounts.

The federal minister said that NDMA has been directed to estimate the losses in Sindh. NDMA will take steps to offset the losses of Sindh.

He said that Ehsas program is the biggest project of the present government. Please don’t politicize national issues to save your corruption. The PPP also does politics in Coronavirus issue.

Note that, Rs 1100 billion package announced for the Karachi Transformation Plan.

Rs 92 billion has been allocated for water supply projects in Karachi under the Karachi Transformation Plan package.

Rs 141 billion will be spent on sewage treatment in Karachi, while Rs 267 billion has been allocated for solid waste management and drainage.

Rs 41 billion will be spent on road rehabilitation and construction of new roads, while Rs 572 billion has been allocated for mass transit, rail and road transport in Karachi.
