Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the house of Lieutenant Nasir Hussain Khalid Shaheed where he met with his family.
According to the statement issued by the Director-General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Qamar Javed Bajwa offered Fateha for the departed soul. The army chief paid homage to the brave soldier and acknowledged the commitment of the martyr’s family.
“The martyred officer sacrificed his life in the defense of the motherland,” said the Army Chief. He added that no threat can defeat such nations who respect its heroes.
Lieutenant Nasir Hussain Khalid was martyred in a terrorist attack in North Waziristan on September 3.
It is to be noted here that Naik Mohammad Imran and soldier Usman Akhtar were also martyred in the attack.
