Leader of the Opposition Mian Shehbaz Sharif has called on former President Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

The meeting was held at Bilawal House while important issues related to national politics were discussed in the meeting held at Bilawal House.

Note that Shehbaz Sharif is on a Karachi visit, he inspected the rain-affected areas in Malir and other areas.

Accompanied by PML-N General Secretary Ahsan Iqbal and Spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb, Leader of the Opposition Shahbaz Sharif while addressing the people in Malir demanded financial assistance from the federal and provincial governments for the flood victims.

He said that the victims of the torrential rains and floods should be compensated immediately and the families of the victims should be provided financial assistance.

Shehbaz Sharif said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had no idea of ​​the flood-affected people as he did not even bother to come to Karachi after the recent rains.

He said that instead of wasting time, the Prime Minister should focus on serving the people in distress and the federal government should announce relief package in consultation with the provincial government.

Shehbaz Sharif said that the federal government should fulfil its duty instead of politics and help the Sindh government.

The PML-N President directed the PML-N workers to go to the houses of the victims and help in the relief work.

Regarding his visit to Karachi, he said, “I have come to Karachi to show solidarity with the victims.”

Shahbaz Sharif said that the people are stuck in floods, inflation and poverty while Prime Minister Imran Khan is stuck in ‘I will not give NRO’.

He said that the Prime Minister should solve the problems of the people otherwise the nation would not forgive him.

On his arrival in Karachi, the PMNL workers received Shahbaz Sharif.

Shehbaz Sharif also met party leaders Feroz Khan, Malik Taj and Haji Amin Mana and other workers in Malir.

In addition, Shehbaz Sharif inspected the rain-affected area of ​​Gulistan-e-Jauhar and offered condolences to the victims.

Earlier, he also spoke to the media on his way out of Karachi airport.

He said that he had come to offer his condolences to the brothers, sisters and children affected by the devastation of the rains and the sympathies of the entire nation were with the people of Karachi and Sindh.

He said that Karachi is a city of lights and we also express solidarity with the Sindh government while politics should not be done in the current situation.

Shehbaz Sharif said that the message of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif was that the federation should cooperate fully with the Sindh government and the government should arrange appropriate financial assistance.

He urged that the green line project initiated by Nawaz Sharif in Karachi should be completed immediately and all stakeholders including the concerned ministers should meet and find solutions to the problems.

It should be noted that after the recent rains in Karachi, suburban and low-lying areas were inundated and thousands of residents were forced to relocate.

Heavy rains caused severe damage to houses in several places and several deaths were recorded.

There is still rainwater in several areas of Karachi which has not been drained.
