Addressing the UN General Assembly, US President Donald Trump said the United Nations must hold China accountable for the outbreak of the coronavirus.

According to the details, in his recorded address to the UN General Assembly, Donald Trump accused China of spreading the virus and infecting the world.

Trump wants to re-elect in the November 3 election but he faces a backlash due to the Coronavirus outbreak, and critics say he blames China for avoiding the criticism.

Critics say, speaking in the UN General Assembly Hall, it seemed as if the US President was addressing his presidential campaign.

He said in his address that UN must hold accountable the nation that has caused us this catastrophe.

Trump accused China of pursuing its own interests when the virus reported last year in Wuhan.

World leaders were addressing the UN session in New York online due to the Coronavirus.

Since the beginning of the Coronavirus, the United States has accused China of spreading the COVID-19 around the world.

US intelligence has submitted a report to the White House stating that China has largely hidden the Coronavirus pandemic in its country and has not fully disclosed the total number of cases and deaths.

Donald Trump then sharply criticized the World Health Organization, accusing it of focusing too much on China, and warned that the agency had cut off US funding.

The United States provided  $400 million in funding to the WHO in 2019, almost double the funding of the second largest member state.

On the other hand,  China has denied the allegations and provided $44 million to contain the coronavirus.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has rejected the US president’s statement, urging it not to suspend aid.
