At least two people were killed and 14 others were injured in a shooting at a party in New York last night.
According to International media, the police department said that the party was going on in Rochester, New York when the shooting incident took place.
The shooting occurred at 12:30 p.m. on Pennsylvania Avenue, according to authorities.
“This is a tragedy,” Rochester Police Chief Mark Simmons told a news conference.
According to police, the shooting killed a boy and a girl, aged between 18 and 22, respectively.
He said that 14 people injured in the firing were rushed to two local hospitals.
The police chief said none of the other victims were fatally injured.
Police did not release the names of the victims or identify any suspects.
Officials said officials are still interviewing witnesses to gather more information about the shooting and determine the culprits or suspects.
An eyewitness said the sound of gunfire sounded “like the Vietnam War.”
It should be noted that there have been several incidents of firing in nightclubs or parties in the United States before this, in which a notable incident took place in the US state of Florida.
