COAS Telephones Bilawal To Discuss Karachi Incident

Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari received a telephone call from Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa discussed the Karachi incident with Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari praised the Army Chief for taking notice of the Karachi incident.

Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also appreciated the orders of the Army Chief on the transparent inquiry into the Karachi incident.

Earlier, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa took notice of the ‘Karachi incident’ about putting pressure on the police to arrest PML-N leader Capt (retd) Safdar.

According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, taking note of the Karachi incident, directed the Corps Commander Karachi to immediately inquire into the facts and instructed to present the report as soon as possible.

ISPR did not provide further details in its statement.
