Karachi: Man Was brutally Burnt Alive After Being Abducted
A man was brutally burnt alive after being abducted in Ittehad Town area of West District of Karachi.
According to details, Khair Mohammad, a resident of Ittehad Town area of Karachi, was abducted by unidentified assailants last night. He was severely beaten by his captors and then set on fire and thrown in the graveyard.
Police officials said in reference to the incident that the citizen was also tortured before being burnt. The incident was reported by the locals who first saw the fire in the graveyard and went to check that he saw that a man was burning.
Police officials said that upon receiving the report of the incident, the police personnel reached the spot and found the charred body of a youth, burnt cash and identity card near the body.
According to police, the identity card belongs to Khair Mohammad, a resident of Raja Tanveer Colony, Orangi Town. Police officials said the investigation team would visit the scene again, and evidence would be gathered.
It may be recalled that a few days ago, a brutal murder took place in Clifton Shireen Jinnah Colony area of Karachi. A son had killed his 80-year-old father and then reached the police station himself and registered a case against unknown persons. But he could not stand his lie for long before the initial police investigation and told the truth.
It was learned that the accused wanted to marry a girl but his father Shehzad did not agree. There was a dispute between the two regarding the sale of the house. The son killed his father over it. He was caught and arrested on charges of murdering his father.
