Pakistan is willing to promote trade partnership with UK says FM

The Foreign Minister Pakistan Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan is willing to promote trade partnership with the United Kingdom.

According to the details, Foreign Minister Pakistan Shah Mahmood Qureshi was talking to the British High Commissioner Dr. Christian Turner in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Pakistan and Britain enjoy deep and longstanding bilateral relations.

Alluding to the Indian atrocities in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Foreign Minister urged the international community to play its role for the resolution of the Kashmir dispute as per the UN Security Council resolutions.

The British High Commissioner commended Pakistan’s conciliatory efforts for peace in Afghanistan. He was also appreciative of Pakistan’s strategy against Covid-19.

The two sides also held a discussion for the promotion of cooperation in the areas of climate change, education, and tourism.

Flight Of British Airways Lands In Lahore

On Tuesday, British Airways began its flights to Lahore. The airline’s first flight BA-259 landed in Lahore from Heathrow at 5 am today.

The previous month, British Airways announced that it will begin direct flights from Lahore to London Heathrow four days a week.
