Regardless of U.S. sanctions and restrictions, Huawei hasn’t stopped launching new smartphones. The latest Huawei Mate 40 series is one of the best and high selling phones in the market currently.

Due to lack of parts and materials, the company has been facing many issues concerning Smartphone construction. However, the issue seems to be resolving as companies are being granted licenses to do business with the Chinese smartphone makers gradually.

After AMD and Intel, Samsung has also received a heads up from the US government. As reported by Reuters recently, Samsung Display has been granted a license to continue supplying certain display panel products to Huawei Technologies. This division of the Korean company develops display technologies.

The report did not mention whether the company can export its OLED panels to Huawei, since other suppliers will also have to get individual licenses in order to do so from the US.

Many companies which were doing business with Huawei before sanctions were imposed have already applied for licenses with the US.

It is most likely that other companies will also get their licenses in the future. Forced sanctions have adversely affected the company’s business and it will take some time before Huawei regains its market share.
