The United States (US) Intelligence has said that Russia and Iran have obtained voter data for the upcoming US elections 2020 in an election interference campaign.

According to the details, National Intelligence Director John Ratcliffe, in his recent statement has said that “The data obtained can be used by foreign actors to attempt to communicate false information to registered voters that they hope will cause confusion, sow chaos and undermine your confidence in American democracy.”

In addition to this, National Intelligence Director John Ratcliffe also announced that Iranian authorities were separately behind a series of threatening emails that were found to be sent this week to Democratic voters, which he said was “designed to intimidate American voters, incite social unrest and damage the United States, President Trump.
