Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has a strong narrative, one that fans of the series appreciate. If one wants to get absolutely everything out of the game, they’ll need to be proactive as the designer of the game explains.
Ubisoft Montreal’s, Darby McDevitt has taken to twitter to encourage Assassin’s Creed fans with an interest in the ‘modern day’ storyline. The series started with Desmond Miles in the first game.
“We don’t kick you out of the Animus often, BUT we do update Layla’s dialogue with her colleagues quite a few times,” McDevitt says, “usually after major events in the Eivor-Sigurd storyline.”
Hot tip for AC Valhalla players who enjoy the Modern Day.
We don’t kick you out of the Animus often, BUT we do update Layla’s dialog with her colleagues quite a few times, usually after major events in the Eivor-Sigurd storyline. So hop out every so often and keep them company.

The dialogues and conversations further flesh out the story and make the player more invested in the game with its modern-day elements. Interestingly, these sections also include one mention of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available on PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and One, and will be available on PS5 on November 12 when the system launches.
Reviews scored the game an 8/10.
