PSL 5: New video released for the knock out matches

PSL 5 enthusiasm is on the rise. Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 5 has released a video of the slogan “phir se tayyar hain”

PSL captioned the video as,

“Khail waheen se shuru ho ga jahan chhora tha! Kya aap phir se tayyar hain”

The video shows the suspension of PSL matches and the escalation of the pandemic, leaving cricketers stranded at home.

But now again PSL is going to start with the same enthusiasm but without fans.

This time PSL has given its slogan “phir se tayyar hain”.

Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had announced the PSL 2015 schedule of the knockout stage matches that were postponed due to the coronavirus.

The tournament was halted amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“The four matches will be held in Lahore on November 14, 15, and 17 with only the Qualifier and Eliminator 1 to be a double-header,” the PCB stated in a press release. “Eliminator 2 will be played on the following day, while the event will conclude on Tuesday, November 17.”

Multan Sultans will play against Karachi Kings in the Qualifier whereas the first Eliminator will be played between Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars.

The losing team in the qualifier will face off the winners of the first Eliminator in the second Elimination fixture.

The final will be played between the winners of the Qualifier and second Eliminator.

The knock-out matches of the event will be played under strict safety protocols which include a bio-secure bubble for the players, match officials, and event-related staff. “The matches are currently planned to be held behind closed doors, though the situation will be closely monitored and will be reviewed in October.”
