Global football icon Cristiano Ronaldo will talk about his stellar career at Dubai International Sports Conference on Dec. 27.

Robert Lewandowski, a Polish athlete, will also attend the event which is planned to be held at the Armani Hotel in Burj Khalifa.

The top giants of the industry will attend the event alongside both the athletes and discuss their respective journeys as the best footballers in the world.

Dubai Sports Council confirmed the news on their official Twitter account and it reads, “Portuguese legend and Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo has been confirmed as speaker for Dubai International Sports Conference, which a Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiative and is being organised under the theme “Football at the Top” on December 27 at Armani Hotel.”

Earlier, Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed joy for being nominated for Globe Soccer Player of the Year and Player of the Century awards.

He took to his Twitter handle and wrote:

“I’m honored and proud to be among the finalists for the Globe Soccer Player of the Year and Player of the Century awards. It’s always a pleasure and absolute joy to receive such public recognition from football fans all around the world.”

Ronaldo is among the three finalists (Robert Lewandowski and Lionel Messi) for the Best Men’s Player award 2020.

Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) will announce this year’s winner on Thursday in a virtual ceremony. Juventus star Ronaldo was given his place in the final thanks to 31 Serie A goals on the way to the Bianconeri’s ninth consecutive Scudetto.
