Pakistan: Cold And Dry Air Prevails For 24 Hours

 Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast a cold and dry climate in almost most of the parts of the country until the next 24 hours.

As per the reports of the MET department, continental air prevails in most areas. There is a Shallow Westerly Wave over the higher regions of the country.  Cold and dry climate is expected in the plain regions across the country as well. However, in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Potohar region, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa cloudy weather with the possibility of rain and light snowfall over mountains are predicted for the next 24 hours.

In plain regions of Punjab, such as Gujranwala, Lahore, Sialkot, Narowal, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, and Multan, foggy climate change is projected. During the early hours, fog is predicted to be dominating in the Sukkur and Larkana Divisions of Sindh.

Moreover, for the next 24 hours, the climate is expected to be cold and dry almost across the country. Leh abd Parachinar remains in the list of the coldest locations with temperatures of -07 ° C.
