An infant, who was kidnapped from the Hayatabad Medical Complex, is recovered by the Peshawar police.
The perpetrators naming Humayun, Misma, Naimatullah, Asmatullah, Zubaidullah Obaidullah, and Hameed Hayat have been placed behind the bars.
The child was abducted from the hospital’s gynae unit, as per the police. Mansoor Aman operations SSP says, “The child’s parents had filed a missing person complaint at the Hayatabad police station on December 16”.
However, the baby has safely returned to her parents.
Aman also added that the offense was committed because they couldn’t conceive a child of their own.
“Within 24 hours of the crime, the child was recovered,” he said, adding that the inquiries were assisted through scientific instruments.
The case has been filed.
Previously, a human trafficking ring was uncovered in Sukkur, said police on Friday.
According to details, police on the basis of intelligence conducted an operation in the Jhangrdo area of Sukkur, where three men involved in human trafficking arrested.
Police identified the traffickers as Abdul Sattar, Peeral, and Razzaq.
The accused used to buy women from different parts of Punjab and sell them in Sindh. Police raided the Jhangro area where women were being offered for sale.
The detainees were involved in looting the citizens in the name of sending them abroad for better employments there. Fake documents were recovered from their possession.
