The brand new SUV Proton X70 has been introduced in Pakistan.

The car was officially unveiled during an online event on December 18, the first glimpse of which the company unveiled on December 10 with a number of features.

This car is introduced in 2 different versions, one is All Wheel Drive (AWD) and the other is Front Wheel Drive (FWD).

The car is powered by a 1500cc turbocharged engine that delivers 177 horsepower and 255 Nm of torque.

Its AWD version features like voice command, active all-wheel-drive system, LED headlamps with DRLS, 360-degree camera, drive power set, tire pressure monitoring system.

The FWD version also comes with a few additional features along with AWD features, including the Advanced Driver Assistance System, Front Passenger Power Sets and Panoramic Sunroof.

The car of AL-HAJ FAW Motors is a joint venture with Malaysian company Proton, whose imported models will be available to consumers locally.

This SUV will beat Hyundai Tuscan, Kia Sportage and others.

Both versions feature a 7-acid DCT automatic gearbox.

Inside the car is an 8-inch touch infotainment system with options like SIM slot and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Similarly, 9 speaker sound system is also a part of the car.

Features include 6 airbags, N95 rated air purifier system, ABC, electronic brake force distribution, brake assist and tire pressure monitoring system for passenger safety.

At present, consumers will be able to buy imported car models, but locally assembled models will also be available in the first half of 2021.

The AWD model of this car will be sold for Rs. 48.90 lakhs while the FWD model will be sold for Rs. 53.90 lakhs.

When assembled locally, the AWD model will be sold for Rs. 46.90 lakhs and the FWD for Rs. 49.90 lakhs.
