An unfortunate incident happened at the Indonesian hospital Wisma Atlet in Jakarta. A male nurse was suspended for removing his personal protective equipment (PPE) to have physical intercourse with a coronavirus patient in the hospital.

According to the details, the incident became viral after a user uploaded a picture on the micro-blogging site Twitter that showed the PPE lying on the hospital’s room.

The Twitter user also posted a conversation’s screenshot that he claimed the nurse had with the patient, discussing where and when to meet in the hospital.

Another user asked the authorities to investigate into the matter. After the tweet went viral, legal action was initiated against both the nurse and the patient after they accepted being involved.

Lieutenant Colonel Arh Herwin of the regional military command in Jakarta noted that the nurse has been tested negative for coronavirus, however, the patient is still positive.
